This image is of a woman, gazing at the path of her life, in search of a choice that will rebuild her lost identity. Many questions swirl in her mind: 'Who am I?' Perhaps she is seeking freedom, one that is earned through struggle, but she still doesn't know her true essence. Cicada Fashion show _ Sep 13.25 Fashion Designer : Mahsa Hashemi War magnifies all the pains of the world and, in its own way, makes everything ugly and devastated. Even if a war is fought against destruction, in the end, it still leaves the Earth full of ugliness, ruin, and suffering. Even if war represents the highest form of justice, it still fills the world with pain. Tooka, an Iranian veteran, has been left alone after the war, with only his medals and memories. He knows that war, no matter how justified it may seem, corrupts the Earth and humanity, leaving them ugly and broken. Yet he still believes in peace and freedom, hoping for a generation that can build the world without bloodshed or violence—for children, soldiers, and all living beings. He asks: “What is true peace? Cicada Fashion show _ Sep 13.25 Fashion Designer : Melika Rostami In the fashion show “Revolution”, I brought to the stage a dress that was not merely a covering of fabric and color, but a story of spirit and dreams. My inspiration began with a blossomed flower—a flower that, in the quiet of the soil, waited for years for the moment when the sun would shine upon it and it would be seen. This dress is a metaphor for every human, every artist, and every dream that, in order to bloom, needs a light of attention and a hand of belief. A flower comes to life when it touches the sunlight; and we, too, reach our peak when our gaze is met with the light of others’ presence. My design of the blossomed flower is a whisper from the heart, saying that blooming without being seen is incomplete. This dress embodies that truth: the union of light and growth, of being seen and bearing fruit. For me, this design may be a silent cry, saying that true blossoming only finds meaning in the light. Cicada Fashion show _ Sep 13.25 Fashion Designer : Forooz Ghorbani Every detail of the garment was handmade, with patterns and motifs inspired by the textures and architecture of the designer’s hometown, Khonj, A city in southern Fars Province in Iran. The traditional dresses of Southern women and the buildings around the city became sources of inspiration, turning into a story shown on the model’s body. The design is also inspired by the textures and patterns of Khonj’s historic buildings, keeping the local culture and heritage alive in the work.
